Atlanta, GA, USA --- May 2, 2017 --- Grover Davis, the managing director of Envista Forensics (“Envista”), today announced the acquisition of AREPA, a major supplier of industrial and high-tech reconditioning that is headquartered in Silkeborg, Denmark. With this announcement, Envista, known worldwide as a top supplier of forensic and reconditioning solutions for insurance companies, claims adjusters, legal experts and risk management specialists, strengthens its strategic position - already established by TekPro Global, Envista's reconditioning division, as the global supplier of technical reconditioning.
Founded in 1981, AREPA today has more than one hundred and twenty employees in ten offices spread across Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden. They provide technical reconditioning services all over the world to insurers, damage experts and the ship, offshore and wind energy industries. Following this transaction, all business reconditioning services, including those previously offered in North America under the brand name of Envista's TekPro Global, will be offered under the AREPA brand name. AREPA's leadership plays a pivotal role in leading the new global organization.
"AREPA is an innovative leader in the reconditioning industry, providing consultative and integral solutions in the field of reconditioning to its customers around the world, and we feel honored that they have joined the Envista Forensics family with their fantastic team," said the managing director Grover Davis. He then added, "In addition to providing an exceptional world-class product, AREPA has the same drive as Envista to provide world-class customer service wherever it is needed in the world."
Bob Wedoff, the CEO, noted that “We have always been proud of the technical skills, quality and customer service of our TekPro division, as well as their international reach from their bases in the United States and Canada. Our collaboration with AREPA, however, elevates our reconditioning activities from an international organization to a truly global organization, and the marriage with AREPA's specialized expertise in Shipping and Energy complements the power of TekPro, providing security in a unique and powerful way in the event of extremely challenging damage and disasters. "
“On behalf of AREPA, I am very pleased that we will become part of the Envista family. Ever since AREPA was established in 1981, striving for excellent service has always been important, ”says Torben Vad, technical director of AREPA. He then stated, "Without a doubt, employees represent AREPA's most valuable asset. Providing security and growth opportunities to our employees is one of my greatest responsibilities, and Envista represents all those important values ??that ensure stability.
